When I first saw the down 0.8 for a brief moment I was disappointed. Then I realized that's 4lbs in 2 weeks - am I an idiot? That's awesome! That's just under a 1lb. I have absolutely no reason to complain.
There were quite a few people in the challenge who had gains this week. Mostly due to increased exercise. So they'll most likely see losses next week.
Hmm, but it made we think to be careful with my plans to increase exercise this week. I must pay special attention to nutrition and fluid. Oh and I think I figured out what's wrong with my knee. Looks like I'll have to focus on building muscle around the knee, working on quads and hips. Avoiding full squats and excessive stairs. Before I go the gym tomorrow I'll do some research with the weight training books I have and flag specific exercises to do.
By the way...the Dyson is mine. I started to have some reservations yesterday as I found some negative feedback on this vacuum, however most had positive and many said the positive outweighed the negative. I'm thankful I don't have berber carpets -apparently Dyson is a bit too strong for those.
For the 2nd week in a row my Dad has not come to the city because he has a shwack of snow. I'd much prefer him to be safe so we'll try again next weekend.
For my work fitness challenge I'm adding another level to it starting Monday. I'm getting them all to write down what they eat. No tracking calories, just write it down. Happily they seem excited about this. I been watching some of them over the week and I've noticed a definitive need for snacks at about 3pm, so it will be interesting to see if they notice this themselves.
Alright then, I think that's all for today.
Have a great weekend!

Let us know what you come up with in the way of knee exercises. I have the same problem and I always feel lazy if I don't take the stairs but it really does aggravate it.
And congrats on winning the dyson by the way!
I lurk bit around these parts....but I thought I'd chime on on the dyson. DH and I bought a Dyson about 3 years ago...it is worth vevery single penny we spent on it. My mom will vacuum her home and I'll come over and revacuum with the dyson and you couldn't imagine the amount of stuff that comes up...even after being going over with a "regular" vacuum only hours before. Worth it, worth it, worth it...espcially since DH now loves to vacuum.
congrats on your loss!
on WW, when I exercise I'm always careful to eat my activity points. The target points for me has a really low calorie count and so adding exercise into the mix almost makes my body shut down on the weight loss front.
Glad you won the Dyson - I'm sure you'll love it!
