So how does time fly by, one minute you're thinking nothing interesting happens and then boom you're into another week.
OMG it's almost September, where did the summer go?
So I signed up for my first University course of the season. I need 4 to complete my certificate so 3 to go. This one doesn't start until the 25th and it's a night course on campus. I haven't done that for about 10 years. Yeah, the last night course I took was right after I graduated from University because I was thinking of doing another degree in linguistics. The books are on order. The class is Employee Benefits, so I'm really hoping it's not mind numbling boring.
A bit of news on the job front. A recruiter from another search company sent out at a request for referrals for a recruiter position that he was working on. Well I called him and said tell me about it. After a morning of exchanging emails we booked coffee today. He thinks I'll be a great fit for this company, it's a really interesting opportunity to actually stream line a recruitment process so we shall see what happens next.
A co-worker told me about another position at another company so it's starting to pick up in my field. Which is incredibly good news as my current company isn't doing so well and strategies are being created as I type. It's a sad day when you don't trust the leadership of your company.
Food wise tracking has been better, activity has been so-so. Got lots in on the weekend but Monday I got side tracked. Today would normally be yoga so I think I'll do that tonight.
I'm kind of excited about the new tv season, as of course the minute Olympics ended there was nothing on. I went to Blockbuster on the weekend and rented the first dvd of the 2nd season of Big Love. I really wanted season 1 of Torchwood but someone beat me too it. I shall keep an eye out for it.
